Work with us
Some challenges need more than another report, another workshop or another set of recommendations.
We work with selected organisations to bring clarity to complex problems, develop better ways forward and help turn thinking into action.
What we help with
Three areas of work. One way of thinking.
Strategy & transformation
Clarifying direction, working through a complicated challenge and developing a practical approach to change. Often this means strategic development, prioritisation, a new operating model or a cross-cutting programme that no single team owns.
- Strategy development
- Prioritisation
- Operating models
- Programmes of change
Partnerships & shared outcomes
Helping organisations work across boundaries, align what each contributes and turn a shared ambition into something that holds up in practice. It is where our original thinking on contribution is most useful.
- Cross-organisation alignment
- Partner roles and contributions
- Shared outcomes
- Delivery agreements
Ideas, innovation & practical development
Exploring new opportunities, testing assumptions and developing concepts until they are tangible. Building our own ventures is directly relevant here, though we are not a software development shop for hire.
- Opportunity exploration
- Concept development
- Rapid prototypes
- Testing in the real world
Three areas rather than a service menu. Most pieces of work draw on more than one of them, and some do not fit neatly into any.
How we work
Thinking is only useful if it goes somewhere.
No stage gates, no branded methodology. A sequence we keep coming back to because it works.
Understand the real problem
Research the context, talk to the people affected and work out what genuinely needs to change.
Challenge the assumptions
Question the accepted thinking. Often a problem persists because the wrong question is being asked.
Shape a practical route
Find the pattern in the complexity and turn it into something people can understand and act on.
Make progress
Build the strategy, the model or the first version, and put it in front of the people it is for.
Learn and adapt
Stay close enough to see what is working, and adjust before the thinking goes stale.
Working together
We work around the problem, not around a package.
Engagements are shaped to fit what is actually needed rather than a standard format. In practice, being involved tends to look like one of these.
Exploring and defining a challenge nobody has got to the bottom of
Developing the strategic thinking and recommendations, then standing behind them
Shaping a new model, initiative or approach and testing whether it holds
Bringing structure and momentum to a piece of change that has stalled
Working alongside a team on a defined strategic question for a set period
Some of this is a defined piece of work. Some of it is an ongoing relationship. We will tell you honestly which one we think you need.
Where the experience comes from
Two things we have actually done.
Strategy work and building a business are different disciplines. Doing both is what makes the advice here practical.
National strategy
- The challenge
- A national strategy for grassroots football, with many stakeholders and no single owner.
- Luke's role
- Senior Strategy Manager at The Football Association.
- The work
- Led the development of the National Grassroots Strategy for 2024 to 2028, from consultation through to the final strategy.
- What changed
- The work moved from consultation to a final strategy, a delivery framework and measurable outcomes.
Building a business
- The challenge
- A new entertainment format with almost no initial investment behind it.
- Luke's role
- Founder of Evadere Virtual Escape Rooms.
- The work
- Built the product, the operation and the audience, then grew it into the UK's largest virtual escape-room provider at its peak.
- What changed
- Tens of thousands of customers, national distribution partners and a six-figure pre-tax profit.
Both are Luke's professional track record. The FA is not a client or partner of No Full Stop, and Evadere is one of our own ventures rather than client work.

You don't need a polished brief or a perfectly defined problem. An initial conversation is often the best place to begin.
